Resolution in favor of the Rev. Thomas Furlong.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to the Reverend
Mr. Furlong, twenty-five dollars compensation for his ser-
vices as Chaplain to the House of Delegates at the present
session.

Resolution in favor of M. C. Sprigg, legal representative
of Philip Strider.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to M. C. Sprigg,
for the legal representatives of Philip Strider, late of Bed-
ford county, Pa., and pensioner of the State of Maryland,
who died on the sixth of January last, twelve dollars and
ninety-three cents, the amount of arrears due him from the
tenth of September, eighteen hundred and forty, to the day
of his death.

Resolution in favor of members of the Legislature, who
may be detained at the scat of government by indisposi-
tion after the adjournment of the Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to such members
of the General Assembly, as may be necessarily detained at
the seat of government by indisposition, the usual per diem
allowance during such detention.
