A supplement to the Lien of Mechanics and others upon
Buildings, passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-eight, chapter two hundred and five.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act, entitled an act relating to the lien of mechan-
ics and others upon buildings, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter two hundred
and live, be, and the same is hereby declared to extend to
Harford county as well as to the city of Baltimore, any thing
in any act or acts of Assembly to the contrary notwith-
standing.

An act to provide for the appointment of a Flour Inspec-
tor and an Inspector of Shingles in Havre dc Grace.
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Governor, by and with the advice
and consent of the Senate, be, and he is hereby required to
appoint an inspector of flour in Havre de Grace, in Har-
ford county, who shall perform the duties required, and
receive the same compensation now allowed by law to
flour inspectors in the city of Baltimore.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Governor, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate, be, and he is
hereby required to appoint an inspector of shingles in the
said town of Havre de Grace, who shall perform all the
duties, so far as respects the inspection of shingles, now
required by law to be performed by inspectors of lum-
ber in this State, and shall receive the same compensation
allowed by law to said inspectors of shingles in the city of
Baltimore.
