1841.

CHAPTER 24.

A supplement to an act to improve and keep in order the
Streets in, and Roads near the Town of Saint Michael's,
in Talbot County, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and seventeen, chapter one hundred and seven-
ty-six.

CHAP. 25.

Passed April 1,
1841.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
all that portion or portions of the road or roads, without
the limits of the town of Saint Michael's, and heretofore
kept in repair at the expense of the authorities of the said
town, as provided for in the act to which this is a supple-
ment, shall be deemed and taken as a public county road;
and shall henceforth be under the supervision and direction
of the commissioners of Talbot county, and shall be kept
in good order and repair, as other county roads are, under
the provisions of an act, entitled an act relating to the pub-
lic roads in Talbot county, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-four, chapter three hundred
and four.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts, inconsistent with this act, be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

CHAPTER 25.

Repeal of in-
consistent acts.

An act, entitled an act for the benefit of Zachariah Sun-
derland, of Calvert County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Calvert county, be and they are
hereby authorised and empowered to levy upon the asses-
sable property of said county, in each and every year, the
sum of thirty dollars, for the use of Zachariah Sunderland,
during his affliction.
