CHAP. 33.
Right to repeal.

In force 90 y'rs

ration to issue any note, certificate, device or token to be
used as currency.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the right is hereby ex-
pressly reserved to the General Assembly, at its pleasure,
to repeal this act of incorporation.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall endure for
thirty years from the date of its passage, if not sooner re-
pealed by the General Assembly.

CHAPTER 33.

Passed Feb. 4,
1841.

An act to alter and change the names of Henry D. Bull,
Ann S. Bull, Fanny M. Bull and Mary E. Bull, of
Baltimore City, to the names of Henry D, Preston, Ann
S. Preston, Fanny M. Preston and Mary E. Preston.

Names changed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
the names of Henry D. Bull, Ann S. Bull, Fanny M. Bull
and Mary E. Bull, be and the same are hereby altered and
changed to that of Henry D. Preston, Ann S. Preston,
Fanny M. Preston and Mary E. Preston; and it shall and
may be lawful for the said Henry D. Bull, Ann S. Bull,
Fanny M. Bull and Mary E. Bull, at all times hereafter, to
be called and known by, to hold and use the name or names
of Henry D. Preston, Ann S. Preston, Fanny M. Preston
and Mary E. Preston, severally; and by that name or names
to purchase, bold, sell, contract, convey or devise, and to
sue and be sued, in any court of law or equity, to the same
extent he, she or they could, under the name or names of
Henry D. Bull, Ann S. Bull, Fanny M. Bull and Mary E.
Bull.

Acts made va-
lid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all securities, promises,
contracts, assurances, deeds and lawful arts whatsoever,
heretofore made or done by the aforesaid Henry D. Bull,
Ann S. Bull, Fanny M. Bull and Mary E. Bull, shall be of
full force and effect, any law or usage to the contrary not-
withstanding.
