1840.

said commissioners shall make a return of said Fowling
Creek School House to the register of wills, who shall re-
cord the same as one of the located schools of said county,
and that the donation heretofore paid to the school near
this site, shall be taken and applied to this school fitter it is
in operation.

CHAP. 194.

Make return.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in case either or any of
the above commissioners shall die or refuse to act, the re-
maining number may have power to fill such vacancy, and
shall serve as trustees of said school until others are ap-
pointed.

CHAPTER 193.

Vacancy.

An act to change the names of John Woolford and Susan
his wife, and James Woolford, Josiah Woolford, Harri-
et Woolford and Susan Emily Woolford, his children,
of Dorchester County, to that of John Keene, Susan
Keene, James Keene, Josiah Keene, Harriet Keene, and
Susan Emily Keene.

Passed Mar. 4,
1841.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John Woolford and Susan his wife, and
James Woolford, Josiah Woolford, Harriet Woolford and
Susan Emily Woolford, his children, of Dorchester county,
shall hereafter be known and called by the name of John
Keene, Susan Keene, James Keene, Josiah Keene, Harriet
Keene and Susan Emily Keene.

Names changed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all contracts entered in-
to, or acts done by the said John Keene, Susan Keene,
James Keene, Josiah Keene, Harriet Keene and Susan
Emily Keene, as such, shall be valid and effectual in law,
to all intents and purposes.

CHAPTER 194.

Acts confirmed.

An act further to extend the time allowed Thomas M. D.
Baden, Collector of Taxes of Prince George's County,
to complete his Collections.

Passed Mar. 4,
1841.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act, entitled an act to authorise Thomas M. D.
