LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 184.

chael C. Sprigg, of the same county, bearing date on the
second day of March, in the year one thousand eight hun-
dred and thirty-two, and recorded in the office of the clerk
of Allegany county court, and conveying, in trust to the
said Michael C. Sprigg, certain real estate, in Allegany,
particularly described in said deed, for the consideration
and purposes therein mentioned, be and the same is hereby
made as fully valid, and the title to the real estate therein
described, shall be held to be as fully rested in the trustee
therein named, in all respects, as though the said deed had
been fully, properly and legally acknowledged.

CHAPTER 183.

Passed Mar. 3,
1841.

An act for the benefit of James Doyle, of Cecil County.

Commissioners
to levy $30.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Cecil county be and they are
hereby authorised and empowered at their discretion, to le-
vy on the assessable property of said county, at their next
levy, and annually thereafter, the sum of thirty dollars for
the use of James Doyle, and pay the same to him or his
order.

CHAPTER 184.

1841.

An act to make lawful and valid the acts and proceedings
of William D. Voshall, one of the Justices of the Peace
in and for Caroline County.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, William D. Voshall, one of the Justices of
the Peace of Caroline County, having been appointed as
such by the present executive of Maryland; and whereas,
the said William D. Voshall was not a resident of this State
at the time he was so appointed justice of the peace; and
whereas, the said Voshall has transacted much business in
said county as justice of the peace, and that doubts are
entertained of the legality thereof — For remedy whererof,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the acts and proceedings of William D. Voshall,
One of the justices of the peace in and for Caroline coun-
ty, be and they are hereby declared to be lawful and
