An act to authorise the County Courts in the Fourth Judi-
cial District of Maryland, to dispose of certain cases
remaining on the Reference and other Dockets of said
Courts.
|

|
WHEREAS, in consequence of the death or renewal of
counsel, parties or arbitrators, many cases remain, and have
for a long time remained upon the reference and other dock-
et of the county courts in the fourth judicial district of this
State, unsettled, to the great inconvenience, cost and injury
of survivors and others — therefore,
|
Preamble.
|

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the county courts of the fourth judicial district of this
State be and they are hereby authorised to cause notice, by
publication or otherwise, in their discretion, to be given to
persons interested in any suit pending upon any docket of
any of the county courts in said district, to show cause by
a certain day, why such suit shall not be stricken from said

docket; provided, that the said courts, within such time as
shall seem to them just and equitable, may in their discre-
tion, direct such suit to be reinstalled, upon satisfactory
cause shown to them.

Proviso.

An act to divorce Margaretta White, of the City of Bal-
timore, from her husband William White.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Margaretta White, of the city of Baltimore, be and
she is hereby divorced from her husband William White,
a vinculo matrimonii.

An act to divorce David Richter, of the1 City of Baltimore,
from his wife Mary Ann Richter.
|
