Baltimore and Susquehanna Rail Road Company, to con-
struct a lateral road to Westminster, be and the same is
hereby extended to the first day of January eighteen hun-
dred and fifty.

CHAPTER 113.

CHAP. 114.

A supplement to an act, entitled an act to authorise Allega-
ny County Court to ratify and confirm a sale made by
Moses Rawlings, late Sheriff of Allegany County, to
William Kight and Jefferson M. Price, of certain real
estate, passed December session, eighteen hundred thirty-
nine, chapter two hundred twenty-two.

Passed Feb. 12,
1841.

WHEREAS, the said William Kight and Jefferson M.
Price, failed to make application to the judges of Allegany
county court, at the April term of said court, as provided
in said act above recited, and they are desirous of obtain-
ing a supplement extending the time for the ratification of
said sale — Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the judges of Allegany county court be and they are hereby
authorised and directed to ratify and confirm the sale made
on the twenty-seventh day of August, eighteen hundred thir-
ty-three, by Moses Rawlings then sheriff of Allegany county,
to William Kight and Jefferson M. Price, at any future term
of said court, in as full and ample a manner as they could
have done at the April term, mentioned in the act to which
this is a supplement; and the same when ratified, to have
the same validity and effect, as if the provisions of the said
act of eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, chapter two hun-

that the said court shall be satisfied that the requirements
of the act to which this act is a supplement, have been ful-
ly complied with.

CHAPTER 114.

Proviso.

An act to alter and change the place of holding the election
in the fourth election district of Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
