mitted to the institutions under the control of the Depart-
ment of Correction, there shall be full and complete inter-
change between the Department of Correction and the Depart-
ment of Parole and Probation of records and all pertinent
information relating to each of the persons so committed.
It shall be the duty of said Departments to provide the pro-
cedures and methods for the interchange of the records and
information as required by this section.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 85
(Senate Bill 134)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
576P of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-
title "Sabotage Prevention", providing that this sub-title
shall continue in force until repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 576P of Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments", sub-title "Sabotage Prevention", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

576P. (Duration. ) This sub-title and all lawful orders
made under it shall continue in force and effect until re-
pealed by Act of the General Assembly.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
