obsolete by the enactment of Section 37A of Article 10 of
Annotated Code (1947 Supplement); now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 729 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 71

(Senate Bill 150)

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 25 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"County Commissioners", sub-title "Draining Lands",
said new sections to be known as Sections 57A and 67A
and to follow immediately after Sections 57 and 67,
respectively, of said Article, authorizing the issuance
of bonds or notes by the Board of Managers of a Public
Drainage Association, making said Board of Managers
a body corporate, and providing for the levying of
taxes to pay the interest and to pay the principal of
said bonds or notes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That two new sections be and they are hereby added
to Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "County Commissioners", sub-title
"Draining Lands", said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 57A and 67A, to follow immediately after Sections
57 and 67, respectively, of said Article, and to read as
follows:

57A. Said Board of Managers, when elected or appointed
as the case may be, shall be and is hereby constituted
a body corporate under the name and style of "The
Board of Managers of................................. Drainage District",

with the right to hold property and convey the same, to
sue and be sued, to adopt a seal and to alter it at pleasure,
and to exercise corporate powers.
