holic Beverages, " sub-title "County Dispensaries, " re-
lating to the distribution of the net profits of the alco-
holic beverage dispensaries in Queen Anne's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (e) of Section 145 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title "County Dispensaries, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
145.
(e) (Queen Anne's County. ) All net profits arising
from the operation of said dispensary or branch dispen-
saries shall be first applied towards the payment of any and
all sums advanced to or borrowed by the Liquor Control
Board. After such sums have been paid, the said Board
shall be authorized to create and maintain a reserve fund
not to exceed $5, 000. 00, to provide adequate working capi-
tal and to meet any losses that may be sustained by the
Board in the operation of such dispensaries. All net profits
in excess of the above shall belong to and be paid over to
the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County on or
before June 1st, in each and every year, except that
from the net profits of the dispensary in the town of
Centreville the County Commissioners shall pay annually
to the Town Commissioners of Centreville the sum of
$2, 500. 00, or so much thereof as the said net profits may
be, if less than that amount. Such payment to the town
of Centreville shall be made on or before June 1 in each
and every year.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 76 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1947 Supplement), as amended by Chapter 40
of the Acts of 1949, title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Administration—Registration—Titling", relating to re-
funds of license fees.
