WHEREAS, there is no longer any necessity for legislation
of this kind; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 720-724, inclusive, of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Turnpikes", be and they
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 295

- (Senate Hill 467)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 682-684, inclusive, of Article
22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title "Livery
Stables", said sections relating to the lien of livery stable
keepers for custody of horses, etc.

WHEREAS, Chapter 23 of the Acts of 1949 provides for a
general state-wide lien law for the keeping and boarding
of horses and other live stock, thereby making these sec-
tions unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 682-684, inclusive, of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Livery Stables", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted,, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
