lishing any new sub-division of land within the corporate
limits of the City of Westminster unless the sub-division
plan has been approved by the Mayor and Common Coun-
cil of Westminster.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (8) of Section 67 of Article 101 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Work-
men's Compensation, " sub-title "Miscellaneous, " relating
to the definition of "Average weekly wages. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (8) of Section 67 of Article 101 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Workmen's Compensation, " sub-title "Miscellaneous, " be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

67.

(8) "Average weekly wages" for the purposes of this
Article shall be taken to mean the average weekly wages
earned by an employee when working on full time, and
shall include tips and the reasonable value of board, rent,
housing, lodging or similar advantages received from an
employer, and if any employee shall receive wages paid in
part by his employer and in part by the United States un-
der any veterans' benefit law enacted by Congress, the
term "Average weekly wages" shall mean the total average
weekly wages from both sources earned by such an em-
ployee when working on full-time.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
