AN ACT to repeal Sections 210, 212, 213, 215 and 222 of
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-heading "County Treasurer",
said sections relating to tax sales.

WHEREAS, Sections 71A to 90W, inclusive, of Article 81
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
providing a general procedure for the sale of real estate
for non-payment of taxes have superseded the local laws
on the same subject, thereby making the aforementioned
sections of the Wicomico local laws unnecessary; now
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 210, 212, 213, 215 and 222 of Article 23 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Revenue and
Taxes", sub-heading "County Treasurer", be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

119 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title "Elec-
tions. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 119 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title
"Elections", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
