All net profits in excess of the above requirements shall
belong to and be paid over to the County Commissioners
of Dorchester County on or before January 30th in each
and every year.
(b) On or before February 15th in each and every year
the County Commissioners of Dorchester County shall
allocate to the Cambridge, Maryland, Hospital, Inc., the
sum of Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16, 000. 00) from the
net proceeds paid to said Commissioners by the Liquor
Control Board and in the event said proceeds do not
amount to Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16, 000. 00), then so
much as is received by said Commissioners. Said hospital
shall use said funds for the repair or expansion of the
hospital buildings, for the establishment and maintenance
of a nurse's training school, for the purchase or replace-
ment of necessary equipment or to meet current operation
expenses or deficits. "
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Prisoners Aid Asso-
ciation of Maryland and to repeal Chapter 287 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1908 pertaining to the Charter of
said Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Charter of the Prisoners Aid Association of
Maryland, a body corporate, without capital stock, duly
incorporated under the Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland for benevolent and charitable purposes, its
certificates of incorporation having been recorded among
the Charter Records of Baltimore City in Charter Record
G. R. No. 17 on March 11, 1873, as amended by Chapter
287 of the Laws of Maryland of 1908, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
