CHAPTER 48
(Senate Bill 75)
AN ACT to repeal Section 15 of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County, " sub-title "Almshouse, " said section
relating to the sale or disposal of strong liquor to any
inmate of said almshouse.
WHEREAS, the sale and disposal of alcoholic beverages
now is fully covered in Article 2B of the Annotated Code,
thereby making obsolete this Section 15 of Article 11 of
the Code of Public Local Laws; now therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 15 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick Coun-
ty, " subtitle "Almshouse, " be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

(Senate Bill 76)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 507-508 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County, " sub-title "Liberty, " said sections
relating to drunkenness and disorderly conduct in and
near the village of Liberty.
WHEREAS, the offenses of drunkenness and disorderly
conduct are covered by State-wide laws, thereby making
unnecessary these Sections 507-508 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws; now therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 507-508 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Liberty, " be and they are hereby
repealed.
