AN ACT to repeal Sections 305-306 of Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County, " sub-title "Princess Anne, " and to en-
act in lieu thereof two new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 305 and 306; and to repeal Sections 317A through
317Z of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County, "
sub-title "Princess Anne, " as said sections were enacted
by Chapter 308 of the Acts of 1933, and to enact in lieu
thereof 26 new sections to be known as Sections 317A-
317Z, inclusive, providing for a Town Manager and
amending the law generally and providing for a ref-
erendum thereon; and to repeal Sections 316, 317, 317A-
3171, inclusive, of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset
County, " sub-title "Princess Anne, " as said sections were
enacted by Chapter 67 of the Acts of 1933, Extraordi-
nary Session; and to repeal Sections 318 and 319 of
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County, " sub-title
"Princess Anne, " and to enact in lieu thereof two new
sections 318 and 319, authorizing the Town Manager of
Princess Anne to appoint police officers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 305 and 306 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County, " sub-title "Princess Anne, " be and
they are hereby repealed and that two new sections be and
they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as
Sections 305 and 306, to read as follows:

305. The President and Commissioners of said town
may appoint a Town Manager and prescribe his duties and
allow him such compensation as they may think proper,
