In such case the summons shall be served upon the occu-
pant of the premises; and if the premises be unoccupied,
then the summons shall be served upon one of the next of
kin of the deceased tenant, if known. If there be no occu-
pant at the premises or known next of kin available for
service then the summons shall be affixed to the premises.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
801 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Moving Picture Machine
Operators, " to substitute "Maryland Fire Underwriters'
Rating Bureau" for "Board of Fire Underwriters' Asso-
ciation, " in order to make said section conform to the
present name of said Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 801 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Moving Picture
Machine Operators, " be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
801. The Governor shall biennially appoint in and for
Baltimore City three persons: one from the Maryland Fire
Underwriters' Rating Bureau, one licensed moving picture
machine operator, a member of the Moving Picture Opera-
tors' Union, and one exhibitor duly licensed to operate
motion picture machines; all of whom have had not less
than three years' experience at the business and who have
resided in Baltimore City for a period of not less than two
years next preceding their appointment, who shall be
known as the Board of Examining Moving Picture Machine
Operators. The parties so appointed shall make oath
before the Clerk of the Superior Court that they will faith-
fully perform the duties of their office, and shall give bond
in the sum of five hundred dollars, to be approved by the
Judge of the Superior Court of Baltimore City.
