CHAPTER 214
(Senate Bill 124)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
716G of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Judges of the People's Court",
as said section was amended by Chapter 69 of the Acts of
1945, changing certain fees to be paid in certain proceed-
ings in the People's Court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 716G of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title '"Judges of the
People's Court", as said section was amended by Chapter 69
of the Acts of 1945, be and and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

716G. Subject to the provisions of Section 716H, before
any of the following acts or services shall be performed in
connection with any action or proceeding in the People's
Court, there shall be paid to the Chief Constable of the
People's Court, for the use of the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore City the following fees and costs:

For Filing, trial costs and copy of judgment
in actions ex-contractu and ex-delicto...... $1. 50

For summoning each additional defendant..... 50

For re-issue................................ 50

For summoning each witness................. 25

For extra copy of judgment................... 15

For issuing writ of fi. fa.................... 1. 00

For issuing writ of fi. fa. on condemnation,

initial costs............ \............... 1. 00

For issuing writ of sci, fa, trial and judgment 2. 00
For issuing writ of venditioni-exponas....... 1. 00

For issuing writ of supersedeas............. 1. 00

For oath or affidavit, probate account......... 20

For confessed judgment.................... 1. 00

For writ, of attachment, trial and judgment... 2. 00
For writ of attachment (each additional

garnishee).............................. 1. 00

For attachment on execution (issue)......... 1. 00

For each additional defendant................. 50

For attachment for contempt................ 1. 00

For replevin or other bond.................. 1. 00
