(k) Such tags shall be supplied at a cost of five cents (5^)
each and shall be composed of two parts; one part giving the
name and address of the consignee and the kind and number
of furs or pelts contained in the package, shall be attached to
the furs or pelts if carried personally open to view or be
attached on the outside of the container in which the furs or
pelts before-mentioned are shipped or transported; the other
part of said tag containing the information specified on tag
shall immediately be forwarded to the Director at Baltimore.
The above tags may be secured from the Game Wardens in the
several counties of the State.

(1) A licensed fur dealer in this State is not required to
purchase and attach such special tags to shipments of furs
or pelts of any wild quadruped to another State provided the
number of the fur dealer's license for the current year appears
on the outside of the packages being shipped or transported.

(m) It is unlawful for any common carrier or his agent
knowingly to receive furs or pelts of any wild quadruped for
shipment to any point outside of this State unless tagged or
marked as hereinbefore required.

(n) It is unlawful for any person wilfully or wantonly to
remove, mutilate or destroy any tag attached to the outside of
a container in which furs or pelts are shipped.

(o) The possession of a green pelt or part thereof by any
person during the closed season shall be prima facie evidence
that such pelt or part thereof was unlawfully taken and pos-
sessed.

(p) (Penalty. ) Any person violating any of the provisions
of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction before any Justice of the Peace or Court of
competent jurisdiction of this State, shall be fined not less
than Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00) nor more than Fifty Dol-
lars ($50. 00) for each and every offense and may be sentenced
to thirty (30) days in jail, either or both at the discretion of
the Court or Justice of the Peace, and in addition to said fine
and imprisonment shall be fined Five Dollars ($5. 00) for each
fur or pelt or wild quadruped in possession in violation of
the law. All such illegal furs, pelts or wild quadrupeds found
in the possession of any person in this State shall be confis-
cated by the officer making the arrest and be delivered to the
Director who may dispose of same as he may deem advisable
for the best interest of the State.
