Measurement in the case of each fish shall be from the tip
of the nose to the end of the caudal fin or tail.

(b) Any of the above species of fish caught and returned
alive to the waters shall not be considered for the purpose
of this section as having been either taken, caught, or had
in possession.

(c) It shall be unlawful to fish for, take, catch, or kill
any species of fish from any stream or non-tidal waters
which have been stocked with trout except during the legal
open season for the taking of trout. Regardless of the man-
ner in which Catoctin Creek in Frederick County is stocked
with trout, it shall not be considered a trout stream from its
mouth to Ellerton Bridge and fishing for bass shall be allow
ed during the regular bass season in this stream from its
mouth to Ellerton Bridge.

(d) It shall be unlawful to sell, offer for sale or purchase
at any time any brook, brown or rainbow trout that are
caught in any non-tidal waters of this State except as other-
wise provided for in this Article.

99. (Gigs and Bait Fish Nets. ) It shall be unlawful for
any person to use or attempt to use a gig or gig iron or a
