(House Bill 418)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Talbot County", sub-title
"Oxford", to be known as Section 330A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 330 of said Article, relating to
registration in Oxford.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Tal-
bot County", sub-title "Oxford", to be known as Section 330A,
to follow immediately after Section 330 and to read as fol-
lows:
330A. (a) All duly qualified voters of the Town of Oxford
as provided by Section 330 of this sub-title shall register in
conformity with the provisions of this section. The town
clerk hereinafter provided for shall be the Supervisor of Elec-
tions, and have such powers and perform such duties as
herein prescribed. There shall be a new registration of the
voters of the Town of Oxford before the next regular election,
and in every tenth year thereafter, at which registration the
town clerk acting as Supervisor of Elections shall sit in the
Municipal Building during the hours from 2 to 5 P. M. and
from 7 to 9 P. M., on the first and second Wednesdays and
Thursdays of April. In those years in which general elec-
tions are to be held, and in which there is to be no new regis-
tration, the town clerk shall sit at the same place and hours
herein provided, on the second Tuesday and Wednesday of
April, for the purpose of registering and revising the regis-
tration books. Should a special election be ordered, the Com-
missioners shall name at least two days, not more than thirty
days before said election, on which the town clerk, sitting as
a register of voters, shall sit for the purpose of registering
and revising the registration lists.
(b) Any person who feels aggrieved by the action of the
town clerk in refusing to register him as a qualified voter,
or in erasing or misspelling his name, or that of any other
