hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

810. The Mayor and City Council is also empowered and
authorized hereby to levy and set aside from the general tax
levy each year, in addition to the amount authorized to be
levied and set aside under Section 759, a further sum of eight
cents on the hundred dollars, making a total of thirteen cents
on the hundred dollars in the aggregate, for the maintenance,
operation and care of the Fire Department of said City.

SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal Section 806 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (Flack's 1943 Edition),
relating to public franchises in the City of Hyattsville.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 806 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (Flack's 1943 Edition) be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
