the Town of College Park, setting forth therein the kind of
sidewalk, curb, gutter, roadbed and street improvements, or
all or any of them, in any street in said Town the Mayor
and Common Council have determined to improve, the place,
date and time it will meet to hear such owners, which shall
be not less than ten days from the mailing of such notices, and
notifying said owners to appear at said meeting and express
their views upon the question or show cause, if any there be,
why the improvements should not be made; and the decision
made by the Mayor and Common Council at said meeting
shall be final and conclusive.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 150
(House Bill 179)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
16 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title "Registration", and
to add a new sub-section to Section 15 of said Article, to be
known as Sub-section 11 and to follow immediately after
Sub-section 10, changing certain provisions of the election
law with respect to registration in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 16 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title
"Registration", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, and that a new sub-section be and it is
hereby added to Section 15 of said Article, to be known as
Sub-section 11 and to follow immediately after Sub-section
10, and all to read as follows:

16. In addition to the days of registration in the several
election precincts and districts as provided by this Article,
the Supervisors of Elections of the several counties are
