Second Ward. The Second Ward shall comprise that part
of the town between the Indian Head Highway and a line
along Black Hawk Drive, that part of Woodland Drive be-
tween the ends of Black Hawk and Mohican Drive, and along
Mohican Drive and Mohican Drive extended to the bound-
aries of the town. The southern edge of Mohican Drive shall
be used for the purpose of this extension.

Third Ward. The Third Ward shall be that part of the
town southwest of the above boundary of the Second Ward,
along Blackhawk, Woodland, Mohican Drive and Mohican
Drive extended to the boundary of the town.

SEC. 4. The government of said town shall be vested in a
Mayor and Town Councilmen composed of a Mayor elected
at large from the town and six councilmen, two to be elected
from each ward as hereinafter provided, all of whom shall
serve without compensation.

SEC. 5. The Mayor shall be elected for a term of two years.
Two of said Councilmen shall be elected from each of the
three wards of which the town is composed, and each council-
man shall be elected for a term of two years, except that at
the first election to be held hereunder, one councilman from
each of said wards shall be elected for a period of one year,
and in the event of any vacancy occurring during the term of
office of any Councilman or the Mayor, the election shall be
for the unexpired term. A Treasurer shall be elected from
the town at large and shall be elected for a term of two
years. The Mayor, Treasurer, and Councilmen shall hold
their respective offices for the several terms aforesaid and
until their successors shall have been duly elected and quali-
fied, unless otherwise terminated by operation of law. Each
Councilman shall be elected by the voters of his respective
ward. On the second Wednesday in May of each year, regu-
lar annual elections shall be held for the election of a Mayor,
Treasurer, and Councilmen as their respective terms of office
expire.

No person shall be eligible as Mayor, Treasurer or Council-
man unless upon the day of election he shall have been an
actual bona fide resident of the Town of Forest Heights for
a period of at least one year prior to the day of election, and
in the case of Councilmen, resident of the ward from which
they shall be elected for at least one year prior to the day of
election.

Neither the Mayor nor any of the Councilmen shall hold
any other office under the corporation during their respective
terms of office, neither shall they nor any other officer of the
