CHAPTER 140
(House Bill 113)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", said new section to
be known as Section 364A, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 364 of said Article and to be under the sub-title "Bail",
relating to bail furnished by the accused.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", said
new section to be known as Section 364A, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 364 of said Article, to be under sub-title
"Bail", and to read as follows:
BAIL.
364A. Any person having power to admit to bail under the
provisions of this sub-title may accept the accused as his own
recognizor, upon cash or other property owned by him, and
upon his conforming otherwise to the provisions of this sub-
title.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

(House Bill 117)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
90 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Tax
Sales", to eliminate Prince George's County from the pro-
visions of said section so as to make the general law ap-
plicable to Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 90 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of
