stop shall be made without obstructing traffic more than is
necessary.

146. (Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle. )
The driver of any vehicle, street car or trackless trolley in-
volved in an accident resulting only in damage to a vehicle
which is driven or attended by any person shall immediately
stop such vehicle at the scene of such accident or as close
thereto as possible but shall forthwith return to and in every
event shall remain at the scene of 4 such accident until he has
fulfilled the requirements of Section 147. Every such stop
shall be made without obstructing traffic more than is neces-
sary. Any person failing to stop or comply with said re-
quirements under such circumstances shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than
Ten Dollars (f 10. 00), nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
(|500. 00)? or by imprisonment not exceeding one year or by
both such fine and imprisonment.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 127

(House Bill 20)

AN ACT to repeal Section 206 of Article 66 1/2 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon High-
ways", said section relating to the operation of school buses
at grade crossings.

WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 206 of Article 661/2 of
the Code are duplicated in Section 186 of the same Article,
thereby making this Section 206 unnecessary; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 206 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
