SEC. 2. And be it further enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1949.

Approved March 31, 1949.

CHAPTER 120
(Senate Bill 300)

AN ACT to repeal Section 404 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), Title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Willards", and to enact
in lieu thereof three new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 404, 404 A, and 404 B of said Article; said new
sections extending the corporate limits of the Town of
Willards and providing for the marking of the new
boundary lines of said town; and providing for a ref-
erendum by the qualified voters to determine whether
this Act shall continue to be effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 404 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title "Wicomico County"
sub-title "Willards", be and it is hereby repealed, and
that in lieu thereof are enacted three new sections to be
known as Sections 404, 404 A, and 404 B of said Article,
and to read as follows:

404. The taxable and corporate limits of the said town
shall be a circle with a radius of 2640 feet from a center
point located at the intersection of the South right-of-way
line of Regnault Avenue with the West right-of-way line
of Canal Street; said center point having a West Longitude
of 75 degrees, 20 minutes, 55. 95 seconds and a North Lati-
tude of 38 degrees, 23 minutes, 28. 69 seconds. "

404A. The Commissioners of Willards be and it is here-
by authorized and directed to cause the center point de-
scribed in Section 404 to be forthwith surveyed and dis-
tinctly marked with a permanent monument or marker and
to cause the boundary circle to be forthwith surveyed and
such other monuments or markers to be placed at such
places on the said circle marking the limits of the Town
as it deems necessary to properly locate said boundary
circle; and full power is given to the Commissioners of
Willards, and to its agents, servants and employees, to
