missioners", relating to the compensation of the County
Commissioners of Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 381 of the Prince George's County Code
(1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
381.
(a) The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of Prince George's County shall receive an annual salary of
Six Thousand Dollars ($6, 000. 00) and each of the other
County Commissioners of said County shall receive an
annual salary of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars
(|2, 800. 00), payable monthly. No other compensation shall
be paid to the Chairman or other County Commissioners for
services rendered as members of the District Council of the
Maryland-Washington Regional District or for any other
services performed by them in an ex-officio capacity.
(b) The Chairman shall be nominated and elected to the
office of Chairman at the next regular election in 1950, and
shall devote his full time to the duties of his office.
SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to add] a new section to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments, " said new section to be known as Section 647A,
to follow immediately after Section 647 of said Article and
to be under the new sub-title "Indictment or Information
Furnished Accused", requiring that in every indictment or
information for a criminal offense a copy thereof shall be
furnished to the accused.
