enforcement of such regulations, and to provide for the term
of office, and compensation of the members of such Board.
The members of said Board shall be selected as follows: One
member shall be the Chief of the Baltimore County Fire Pre-
vention Bureau, ex officio. One member shall be the Buildings
Engineer of Baltimore County, ex officio. One member shall
be selected 'from a list of persons proposed by the Maryland
Fire Underwriters Rating Bureau and/or the Middle Depart-
ment Association of Fire Underwriters. Two members shall
be appointed by the County Commissioners, who shall have
been actively engaged in the electrical business in Baltimore
County for at least five years and who are residents and
registered voters of Baltimore County at the time of such
appointment.

The Chief of the Baltimore County Fire Prevention Bureau
and the Buildings Engineer of Baltimore County shall re-
ceive no additional compensation for their services under this
section. The other three members of said Board shall receive
such compensation as shall be fixed from time to time by the
County Commissioners, which said compensation shall be
paid from the fees collected for licenses, permits, inspections
or otherwise under this section.

(d) The County Commissioners shall keep in a separate
book all rules, regulations and restrictions adopted by them
from time to time under the authority of this Act, and any
amendments or supplements thereto, and shall cause copies to
be printed and made available for general distribution. Any
such printed copy, together with any amendments and supple-
ments, when certified as accurate by the Secretary to the
County Commissioners, shall be deemed prima facie evidence
thereof in any judicial proceeding in the State.

(e) Any violation of regulations adopted pursuant to this
Act shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to ex-
ceed One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) or by imprisonment not
to exceed thirty days, or both fine and imprisonment. Any
person who shall violate such regulations and restrictions
shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for every day that
such violation shall continue.

(f) The provisions of this title shall not apply to any elec-
tric light company, electric railway company, steam railway
company, telegraph or telephone company, nor to those per-
forming electrical work for such companies where said elec-
trical work is an integral part of the plant or service used by
such company in rendering their authorized service to the
public.
