449. (a) Every person who shall receive a license from the
State Board of Chiropractic Examiners shall have it recorded
in the office of the clerk of court of the county or the clerk
of the Superior Court of Baltimore City, as the case may be,
of which he resides and shall likewise have it recorded in the
counties to which he shall subsequently remove for the pur-
pose of practicing Chiropractic.
(b) The failure or refusal on the part of the holder of a
license to have it recorded before he or she shall begin the
practice of Chiropractic in this State after having been noti-
fied by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to do so,
shall be sufficient grounds to revoke or cancel a license and
render it null and void. The clerk of the court shall
keep for public inspection, in a book provided for that
purpose, a complete list and description of the licenses re-
corded by him. When any such license shall be presented to
him for record he shall stamp upon the face thereof his signed
memorandum of date when such license was presented for
record.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
389 and 397 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County", sub-
title "Lonaconing", as said sections were amended by
Chapter 248 of the Acts of 1943, providing for an election
in Lonaconing in May, 1949, and making provisions for the
appointment of a bailiff.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 389 and 397 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Alle-
gany County", sub-title "Lonaconing", as said sections were
amended by Chapter 248 of the Acts of 1943, be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
389. All citizens of the age of twenty-one years and up-
wards, who have resided within the corporate limits of Lona-
