WM. PRESTON LANE, JR., GOVERNOR. 1667

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
be and they are hereby authorized to take over and main-
tain a section of Forest Drive in Shore Acres District
No. 3, being a strip of land approximately 20 feet wide
and comprising a section of Forest Drive, as shown on
the revised plat of Shore Acres recorded among the Plat
Records of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in Cabinet
No. 1 Rod V Plat 7, said strip being more particularly
described as follows:

BEGINNING for the same at the end of the existing
30 foot width section of Forest Drive, at a point opposite
the southwest corner of Lot No. 27, and the northwest
corner of Lot No. 163, as shown on said plat, and running
thence in a northeasterly direction for a distance ^of ap-
proximately 120 feet to the point of ending opposite the
northeast corner of Lot No. 164 and the southeast corner
of Lot No. 28.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949,

CHAPTER 695

(Senate Bill 481)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 27 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Gaming", said
new section to be known as Section 302C and to follow
immediately after Section 302B of said Article, making
it lawful to hold or conduct carnivals, bazaars or raffles
by certain organizations or corporations for the benefit
of volunteer fire companies, or of certain fraternal,
civic, water veterans, religious or charitable organiza-
tions or corporations in Kent County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 27
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Gaming", said
new section to be known as Section 302C, to follow imme-
diately after Section 302B of said Article, and to read as
follows:
