three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
464 (a) of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Roads", relating to a special road tax
for Woodland Beach.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 464 (a) of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Roads" be and it is here-
by repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
464. (a) The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
take over, maintain and repair the roads within the limits
of Woodland Beach in the First Election District of Anne
Arundel County.
Hereafter, at the time of making the annual levy, the
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County shall an-
nually levy on land subject to taxation within the limits of
Woodland Beach a special road tax of not more than twenty-
five cents per lot, as laid out and shown on the plat of Wood-
land Beach, which said tax shall be used only for road main-
tenance and repair in Woodland Beach, and which special
tax shall be in addition to the general taxes now provided
by law. Before expending any of the taxes collected under
this sub-section, the County Commissioners shall have the
privilege of conferring with the Woodland Beach Property
Owners' Association, Inc., as to the manner in which the
money is to be expended.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
