AN ACT to legalize the 1950 Edition of the Code of Public
Local Laws of the City of Cumberland, being Article 1A of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, compiled and
edited by Carl N. Everstine, and to provide for an appro-
priation for the publication thereof.

SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the 1950 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws
of the City of Cumberland, being Article 1A of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, compiled and edited by Carl
N. Everstine, be and the same is hereby legalized and shall be
deemed and taken in all the courts of the State and by all
Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State and
by all public officials of the State to be evidence of the Public
Local Laws of the City of Cumberland in existence at the
time of compilation, provided that before the said 1950 Edition
is published all Public Local Laws enacted by the Genera]
Assembly of Maryland at its regular session in 1949 relating
to the City of Cumberland shall be incorporated therein.

SEC. 2, And be it further enacted, That the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Cumberland be and they are hereby au-
thorized to make an appropriation to provide for the publica-
tion of said Code.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
