Any taxes which may be levied under this Act shall be col-
lected in the same manner as other taxes are levied and
collected in said County.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the bonds author-
ized by this Act shall be sold in the manner prescribed by
Section 35 of Article 31 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), and Section 36 of said Article and Code (1947
Supplement), as said sections may be amended from time
to time.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wor-
cester County", to be under sub-title "Fire Marshal", said
new section to be known as Sections 80A to 80F, inclusive,
and to follow immediately after Section 80 of said Article,
creating the office of Fire Marshal for Worcester County,
providing for his appointment and prescribing his powers
and duties..
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That six new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", to be under sub-
title "Fire Marshal", said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 80A to 80F, inclusive, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 80 of said Article, and to read as follows:
FIRE MARSHAL
80A. (a) The County Commissioners of Worcester County
are hereby authorized to create and establish the office of
Fire Marshal for said County; and to appoint as said Fire
Marshal a person from a name or list of names submitted by
the Worcester County Volunteer Firemen's Association. The
said Fire Marshal shall receive such compensation as said
County Commissioners shall determine and said Commission-
ers are authorized to levy up to one-half cent (1^) on every
