Section 92A of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1947 Supplement), title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents
and Brokers", said new sub-section to be known as sub-section
(q) and to follow immediately after sub-section (p) of said
section, and to read as follows:
92A.
(q) No public adjuster's or public adjusters solicitor's
certificate of authority shall be issued by the Insurance Com-
missioner to any applicant who has not been a bona fide
resident of the State of Maryland continuously for at least
two years next preceding the date of filing of any application
under the provisions of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
129 of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", as said section was amended by
Chapter 815 of the Acts of 1945, increasing the annual
compensation of the County Commissioners of Cecil
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 129 of Article 8 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Cecil Coun-
ty", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said section was
amended by Chapter 815 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
129. The County Commissioners of Cecil County as now
constituted and holding office or hereafter elected or ap-
pointed shall receive an annual salary of eighteen hundred
dollars in lieu of all other compensation and shall be
allowed five cents for each mile actually traveled in attend-
ing the regular meetings of said County Commissioners
or special meetings attended by all of said Commissioners,
