CHAPTER 636

(House Bill 709)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 55 of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
to be known as Sub-section (d-1), to follow immediately
after sub-section (d), to provide that in Baltimore County
the Board of License Commissioners may not consider an
application for a license within six months from the re-
fusal of the same where the license was refused on grounds
that it was not necessary for the accommodation of the
public.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-section be added to Section 55 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment), to be known as Sub-section (d-1), to follow immedi-
ately after Sub-section (d), and to read as follows:

55.

(d-1) (Baltimore County. ) The provision in Sub-section
(a) hereof that it shall not hold against an applicant where
a license is refused on the grounds it is not necessary for
the accommodation of the public shall not apply in Baltimore
County.

SEC. 2. And "be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.
