its supervision a comprehensive program of public recreation
which shall include the operation and direction of games,
sports, arts and crafts, hobby shops, music, drama, dancing,
nursery play, and such other physical, social, mental, and
creative opportunities for leisure-time participation as the
Board shall deem advisable to offer in major recreation
centers, playfields, athletic fields, playgrounds, tennis courts,
baseball diamonds, swimming pools, golf course, community
centers, and social centers in publicly or privately owned
lands and buildings or other facilities made available to the
Board for such purposes by the County Commissioners, the
Board of Education, The Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission, or any other agency having jurisdic-
tion over such facilities or any municipality or other political
subdivision within the County.

The Board shall have authority to indemnify the owner of
any land or building in or upon which a recreational pro-
gram is conducted by the Board against any claim for per-
sonal injuries or other damages arising out of the conduct
of the said recreational program.

The Board is further authorized to equip, develop, operate,
and maintain, and issue permits for use of, any of the facili-
ties made available to it, provided that in park or other lands
or in buildings owned or under the jurisdiction of The Mary-
land-National Capital Park and Planning Commission such
equipment, development, operation, maintenance, and issu-
ance of permits shall be in accordance with the Commission's
plan and subject to its approval. In the selection of loca-
tions for the undertaking of various phases or aspects of the
comprehensive recreational program in the Maryland-Wash-
ington Metropolitan and Regional Districts, the Board shall
be guided by the Master Plans of Parks and Parkways and
of Recreational Facilities and/or proposals and studies pre-
paratory thereto adopted or developed by The Maryland-
National Capital Park and Planning Commission as part of
the general plan for the physical development of the said
Districts.

952G. The Board shall prepare and submit to the County
Commissioners an annual budget, itemizing the appropriations
necessary for the performance of its functions and duties
under this Act, including appropriations necessary for equip-
ment, operation, and maintenance of facilities under its super-
vision and in the operation of its recreational program.

The County Commissioners of Prince George's County are
hereby authorized to issue, upon the full faith and credit of
said County, general obligation bonds in amounts not exceed-
ing Sixty Thousand Dollars (|6'0, 000. 00) annually for three
