SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Chapter 1 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its
January Session in the year 1949, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
SEC. 4. And T)e it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure,, and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 671)
AN ACT to add a new sub-title comprising seven new sections
to the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(Flack's Edition, 1943), being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County", said sub-title to be designated "Recreation Board",
said new sections to follow immediately after Section 952
of said Code and to be designated as Sections 952-A to
9'52-G, inclusive, the purpose of this Act being to authorize
the creation of a Recreation Board for Prince George's
County; to provide for its composition, terms of member-
ship, compensation, jurisdiction, and procedures; to au-
thorize the appointment of a Director of Recreation and
other personnel; to provide for a recreational program and
for the borrowing of money and the levying of taxes for
said program in Prince George's County; and to repeal
Chapter 832 of the Acts oft the General Assembly of Mary-
land passed at its January Session in the year 1947.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following new sub-title comprising seven new
sections be, and the same is, hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (Flack's Edi-
tion, 1943), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", the said
new sub-title to be designated as "Recreation Board" and the
said new sub-title and the said new sections to follow im-
mediately after Section 952, and to be designated as Sections
952-A to 952-G, respectively, so as to read as follows:
