SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
464 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Orphans' Court", as said sec-
tion was amended by Chapter 830 of the Acts of 1947, re-
lating to the compensation of the bailiffs of the Orphans'
Court of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 464 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Orphans' Court",
as said section was amended by Chapter 830 of the Acts of
1947, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
464. The Bailiffs of the said Orphans' Court of Baltimore
City shall receive a salary of $3, 080 per annum, payable in
monthly installments at the end of each and every month by
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, said salary to be
determined and certified to by the Judges of the Orphans'
Court of Baltimore City.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1950.
