age added to the county roads within such counties or munici-
palities during the twelve months period ending on the pre-
ceding December 1.

SEC. 2. And "be It further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of the passage.

CHAPTER 580
(House Bill 544)

AN ACT to add 23 new sections to Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County", sub-title "Trailers", to be known as Sec-
tions 217A-217W, and to follow immediately after Section
217 of said Article, relating to licensing and regulating of
trailer parks.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That 23 new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title. "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Trailers",
to be known as Sections 217A-217W, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 217 of said Article, and all to read as
follows:

217A. For the purpose of this sub-title, a "trailer" or
"trailer coach" shall be defined as a vehicle without motive
power designed for human habitation and for carrying per-
sons and property on its own structure and for being drawn
by a motor vehicle.

217B. For the purpose of this sub-title, a "trailer camp"
shall be defined as any area or tract of land in St. Mary's
County where two or more trailer coaches are maintained or
used for a period in excess of three days, or where space is
rented or held out for rent to owners or users of trailer
coaches or free camping is permitted to owners or users of
trailer coaches for the purpose of securing their trade.
