that application for such prior service credit is made
prior to January 1, 1950.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws, or parts
of laws, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be
and they are hereby repealed to the extent of such in-
consistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal Section 305 of Article 6 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County, " sub-title "Greensboro, " said section
having been enacted by Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1947
and relating to payments to the Commissioners of
Greensboro by the County Commissioners of Caroline
County for the repair and improvements of streets with-
in said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 305 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline Coun-
ty, " sub-title" "Greensboro, " said section having been en-
acted by Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1947, be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
