(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to use patent
twine weirs, or other twine weirs, pound nets and hauling
seine of greater length than 350 feet, in Black Water River
and its tributaries (except Little Blackwater River), Little
Choptank River and its tributaries (except Oyster Creek or
Bay); or to fasten or stick stakes in that part of Black-
water River lying between a line drawn from Grog Point
to the opposite side of the river and a line drawn from
Berge's Ditch to the opposite side of the river, except in the
bends of the river where stake weirs now exist.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 567
(House Bill 473)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 934
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Balti-
more City", sub-title "Physicians to the Police Force", as
said section was amended by Chapter 818 of the Acts of
1943, increasing the fee to be paid physicians for making
certain examinations required by the Police Magistrates or
by the State's Attorney.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 934 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Physicians to the Police
Force", as said section was amended by Chapter 818 of the
Acts of 1943, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

934. Each physician making said examination required
under the previous sections shall receive therefor a fee of
ten dollars for each such case, to be paid by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore; provided, however, that no
such fee shall be paid unless the bill rendered therefor shall
be certified to by the police magistrate ordering such exam-
ination or by the State's Attorney for Baltimore City, in case
