SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 129-161, inclusive, of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1947 Edition) being Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County", sub-title "Arundel-on-the-Bay", be and
they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", said new section to
be known as Section 946A, to follow immediately after
Section 946 of said Article, and to be under the sub-title
"Special Fund", relating to retirement provisions for mem-
bers of the Baltimore Police Department who previously
belonged to another pension system operated by the City
of Baltimore.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", said new
section to be known as Section 946A, to follow immediately
after Section 946 of said Article, and to be under the sub-title
"Special Fund", and to read as follows:
946A. Any officer or employee of the said Police Depart-
ment who is eligible to receive retirement payments under
the provisions of this sub-title and who prior to his service in
the said Department was a member of another pension or
retirement system operated by the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore, shall be credited for all the purposes of this sub-
title with the time so spent as a member of such other pension
or retirement system. Such officer or employee shall receive
