SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 44 (b) of
Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment), title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-title
"Water Fowl and Migratory Birds", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 3. And be It further enacted,, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 524

(House Bill 168)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
370 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County", sub-title

' "Juvenile Court", as said section was amended by Chapter
976 of the Acts of 1945, relating to the compensation of
the Juvenile Court Judge and Clerk and requiring the
Clerk to be bonded.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 370 of Article 1 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany
County", sub-title "Juvenile Court", as said section was
amended by Chapter 976 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments to read as
follows:

370. (a) In addition to the Justices of the Peace hereinbe-
fore mentioned, there shall be appointed by the Governor, by
and with the consent of the Senate, and if the Senate shall
not be in session, by the Governor, for Allegany County at
large an additional Justice of the Peace to be known as the
Magistrate for Juvenile Causes, who shall receive a salary of
Thirty-nine Hundred Dollars ($3, 900. 00) per year, payable
monthly, two thirds by the County Commissioners for Alle-
gany County and the other one-third by the Mayor and City
Council of Cumberland, Maryland.

(b) The jurisdiction and powers of such Justice shall be as
follows:
