SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 654 and
655 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " sub-
title "Orphans' Court, " said sections having been amended
by Chapter 543 of the Acts of 1933, be and they are hereby
repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
37A of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attor-
neys in Fact, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " relating to
the annual salaries and expenses of the State's Attor-
neys for the several counties; and to repeal Sections
729 and 730 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County", sub-title "State's Attorney", Section 730 hav-
ing been amended by Chapter 787 of the Acts of 1947;
to repeal Sections 796 and 797 of Article 22 of said
Code, title "Washington County", sub-title "State's At-
torney", said sections having been amended by Chapter
520 of the Acts of 1947; and to repeal Sections 1176,
1177 and 1178 of the Code of Montgomery County
(1947 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County",
sub-title "State's Attorney", all said sections relating
generally to the compensation and expense allowances of
the State's Attorneys of Frederick, Washington and
Montgomery Counties, respectively.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 37A of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law
and Attorneys in Fact, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
37A. (a) The State's Attorneys of the several Counties
of the State shall receive annually the respective salaries
