32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41 of Article 96 1/2,
and following immediately after Section 18 of said Article
96 1/2 The transfer and recodification of said Sections, as
provided by this Act, shall not change, impair or affect
the existence, tenor, validity and application of said Sec-
tions, or any of them.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 117.
(Senate Bill 227)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-
section (d) (2) of Section 3 of Article 95A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, (1943 Supplement), title "Un-
employment Compensation, " sub-title "Benefits, " sub-
heading "Benefits after Termination of Military Service, "
so as to extend the base period and benefit period for
individuals in the military service.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-section (d) (2) of Section 3 of Article 95A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, (1943 Supplement), title
"Unemployment Compensation, " sub-title "Benefits, " sub-
heading "Benefits after Termination of Military Service, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
BENEFITS
3. (d) (2) The term "trainee" as used in this sub-section
means an individual who entered military service after
April 1, 1940, who continued such service for not less than
ninety consecutive days and whose military service was
terminated on or before March 31, 1947.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect, June 1, 1945.
