immediate preservation of the public safety and health,
and being passed upon the yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to re-number Sections 33-A to 33-0, inclusive,
of Article 1A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "City of Cumberland, " sub-
title "Police and Fire, " as said sections were enacted by
Chapter 436 of the Acts of 1943, to read Sections 36-A
to 36-0, inclusive, and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 36 of said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 33-A to 33-0, inclusive, of Article 1A of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition,
title "City of Cumberland, " sub-title "Police and Fire, " as
said sections were enacted by Chapter 436 of the Acts of
1943, be and they are hereby re-numbered to read Sections
36-A to 36-0, inclusive, of said Article, and to follow im-
mediately after Section 36 of said Article.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Public Accountant.
