171. To the bequest to the General Mission Board of
the Church of the Brethren of Elgin, Illinois, contained in
the last Will and Testament of Albert W. Ecker, deceased,
late of Frederick County, of record in the office of the Regis-
ter of Wills for said County in "Wills" Liber R. L. L. No. 1,
folio 386.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 751.
(House Bill 835)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
75 and 76 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Black Bass", as
amended by Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1945, relating to the
period during which and the method by which it shall be
lawful to catch, possess or transport black bass.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 75 and 76 of Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fisheries",
sub-title "Black Bass", as amended by Chapter 169 of the Acts
of 1945, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

75. It shall be unlawful to catch black bass in any manner
in the tidal waters of the State of Maryland except that during
the months of July, August, September, October and November
black bass may be caught with rod, hook and line using natural
or artificial baits. Whenever any black bass are caught in
nets, seines or other devices legally engaged in other fishing,
those fishing such nets shall immediately return such fish to
the waters uninjured, except it shall be lawful for anyone
fishing said nets to retain not to exceed one day's legal creel
limit of ten (10) black bass for his own private use during
said open season. It shall also be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to sell or offer to sell, purchase or offer to
purchase at any time or to have in possession any black bass
whether said fish be caught in tidal or non-tidal waters within
the State of Maryland, or the waters of any other State and
brought into this State; provided, however, that anglers catch-
ing said fish during the months of July, August, September,
