AN ACT to fix the rate of State taxation for each of the
years nineteen hundred and forty-six (1946) and nineteen
hundred and forty-seven (1947), in accordance with the
provisions of Section 28, Article 81 of the Code of Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland. '

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the rate of State taxation for each of the years
nineteen hundred and forty-six (1946) and nineteen hundred
and forty-seven (1947), respectively, is hereby fixed in the
manner following, and the taxes for each of the State loans
herein specified to be used to pay the installments of prin-
cipal and interest thereon.

The above items making an aggregate rate for State taxes
of eleven cents (11c) for the year nineteen hundred and forty-
six (1946), and of eleven cents (11c) for the year nineteen
hundred and forty-seven (1947) on each. One Hundred Dol-
lars ($100. 00) of assessable property.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
